Unit 1A.4 Multimedia Technology and Consumption
1.       Convergence: Give a definition of this.  What form did early convergence take? And give some examples of present day technological convergence.
Media convergence is taking more than one activity and merging it in to one. For example, listening to music and sending a message at the same time on your phone. Early example of convergence would be the first camera phone.
2.       Interactivity: In what ways is digital technology interactive? Can you give some examples? How has this changed the way we consume the media?
When a person interacts with digital media. some examples on interactivity in media would be in text, moving image, animation, video, audio, and video games.
3.       Personalisation: How do we personalise our technology and what is the reason for this?
We personalise technology to accommodate to us and what we find comfortable.
